My Favorite Hobby

   

My name is Isaac Ariza, I'm 17 years of age and my favorite hobby is skateboarding. Every day right after school i go to the local skate park and skate until 9:00 p.m. Its a really fun sport that requires a Popsicle shaped board with trucks and wheels on it. the main goal on a skateboard is to learn new tricks and basically have fun and be creative with the way you ride and do tricks on it. I think that everyone and anyone can skate board if they really want to. Skateboarding is a hard sport to learn but very easy and fun if you are committed to it and put the time and effort into it.
        My opinion on skateboarding is that it is a really fun sport and is really interesting to get into. Its something that is fun to learn about because theirs so many different type of cultures and mainly different types of styles in skateboarding. This sport is my favorite sport out of all the other sports you could possibly think of because its something you can do on your own. their is nobody yelling in your face and telling you what to do like they would in other sports. you are your own coach, you learn as fast or as slow as you want and when ever you want.
       I also really love this sport because it helps you get things off your mind and just forget about everything. it gets things off of your mind because you're so focused on what you are trying to learn and not only that but its just so fun that nothing else comes to mind. skateboarding is the best thing that has ever happened to me because its helped me deal with thing and forget about things that i wouldn't be able to deal with without my skateboard. i have been skateboarding for two straight years and i have advanced very quickly, skateboarding means everything to me and till this day i don't know where i would be if it weren't for my skateboard.

bucket list

1. go to the L.A. Fair with my oldest sister and pay 50 dollars to bungee jump.

2. go to college and graduate and become an E.M.T because i love helping people that are physically and mentally hurt.

3. become a sponsored skateboarder or even become a amateur pro skateboarder because i put so much time and effort into the sport and not only is it really fun but it helps keep things off my mind. i really love the sport and i am good at it so that's my main goal.

4. i want to save up money, and travel around the world, going to all different types of skateparks with my friends.

5. i want to save up money and open up my own local skate shop here in Costa Mesa.

about me

                My name is Isaac Ariza, i am 17 years old and i grew up in Costa Mesa most of my life. By the time i was 5, my parents got a divorce and i had to go live with my dad and brother because my mom got custody of my 2 sisters.  Growing up all i would wished for was that my parents have never split up. Obviously that didn't come true, but i got used to it. I remember that i used to always follow my older brother and do what he did like skate and bmx because i wanted to be just like him. until one day i started to notice that he didn't want me to be around him. Realizing that made me really sad because i used to look up to him.
          
              Ever since my parents got divorced i haven't done good in school. Every year i don't do good even till today. But i realized that i must do good to graduate if i want to go to college. I want to go to college and study to become an E.M.T because i have always wanted to help people that are physically and mentally hurt. if i did end up going to college and becoming a E.M.T i would make     my parents proud and be able to take care of my own.
 
              the number one thing that i love doing is skateboarding. i am so focused on it that i go skate every day after school until 9 pm. To be honest i don't know what i would be doing if it weren't for skateboarding. i hope to become a sponsored skateboarder so that i can get recognized, paid, and get free boards and apparel.
